Photography
Documentary style photography for people, places and lived moments.
If I’m honest, I’ve always found it difficult to describe what category of photographer I fall into - because for me it’s less about what, and more about how.
There are photographers who thrive on posing, directing, perfect angles and carefully curated moments...while finding my feet in photography, I found that photographing in that way always made me feel tense, uncomfortable, and out of my element. I am not a curated girl...ask my friends; though I am a perfectionist, I believe wholeheartedly in imperfection and what makes us human. My anchor in life is authenticity and feeling true in all that I do.
For this reason I found my true passion in photography when I started to work quickly and intuitively, aiming to keep people moving and relaxed rather than still and self-conscious. We all know that feeling when a camera is pointed at us and suddenly we’re out of the moment, and in our heads...("Wait, what do I do with my arms? Do my hands look weird?!")
I believe the most flattering images come from presence, not performance. My focus is always on documenting how something feels, not just how it looks. “I didn’t even notice you taking these” is something I hear often when I deliver a gallery, and that’s when I know the work has gone exactly as it should have.
So rather than thinking in terms of landscapes, weddings or family photography, I've started describing myself like this;
I’m a documentary photographer. I'm focused on capturing people and places as they are, and my approach is observational and rooted in presence.

Place & Travel Documentation
I’m drawn to photographing places as they are - the small details, the atmosphere. The kind of images that feel lived-in rather than curated.
This work is best suited to hotels, retreats and destinations that value quiet storytelling and a refined, editorial approach.
If you’re looking for imagery that feels elevated, natural and deeply connected to place, I’d love to hear about your vision.

Personal & Family Documentation

For families and individuals wanting their time together documented naturally - at home or while travelling.
These sessions are unposed, and focused on connection. The intention isn’t perfect images, but honest ones, my passion lies in the small moments you don’t realise you’ll want to remember until they’ve passed.
For travel in particular, I offer a more immersive style of documentation - joining you for a few days or even a week to capture your time away as it unfolds.

Portrait & Brand Photography
I also work with individuals and small businesses to create documentary-style portraits and imagery.
This work is best suited to those wanting photographs that feel grounded, human and reflective of real environments — rather than polished or overly styled branding.
Let’s document something meaningful.
If my approach resonates and you’re interested in working together, you’re welcome to get in touch with a brief description of what you’re hoping to document.
